One of the first things guests mentioned in their reviews was that the hotel’s staff were fantastic, especially the reception staff. Guests were so impressed with their warm welcome and friendliness that they often singled out individual staff members for praise.

Guests were clearly impressed with the parking available at the hotel. They mentioned that the lot was large and that they never had any trouble finding a spot when returning from their outings.

Despite being right by the exceptionally busy New Jersey Turnpike, guests were amazed by how quiet their rooms were. They speculated that the rooms must have soundproof triple glazed windows.

A surprising number of guests reported major problems in their bathrooms, with either the sink or shower not draining properly, leaving unsightly pools of water and making them unusable for some time.

Many guests were clearly expecting the breakfast to be free, and were not at all happy to be told on arrival that there was a fairly substantial charge for it. They felt that many other hotels in this category do have complimentary breakfast and were disappointed this one didn’t.

A number of guests reported that there were no restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, not even fast food joints. Those who did not feel like eating at the onsite restaurant had to make a car trip if they wanted to eat, which was a bit of a nuisance.
