Great article by Simon Bart for XDA around wearable technology to assist in translation of sign language. This is not something that can replace sign language interpreters. It’s a small step in innovation for future technology that could better assist. #AccessibilityMatters

Thank you for sharing Justin M."It's a shame that the glasses can't handle anything past the alphabet, but hopefully, this is just the beginning of a much larger project that can translate the entire sign language dictionary on the fly."

I was trying to read the article on my phone but had to give up due to a massive amount of ads overlapping the content.

I love how the article is spun to focus on how these glasses may help the user to “learn” ASL (read: finger spell a little)… at the end of the day, this seems to be just another ableist device designed to make it easier for the hearing person to understand the Deaf individual- but doesn’t support the other way around. But I’ll watch to see what happens with it. I hope they prove me wrong, but this is screaming “ASL gloves that speak” all over again.

Great visualization representing the importance of accessibility around the use of colors. Colors are commonly used in most cybersecurity solutions with out information indicating what the color means. We need to provide the information so everyone can use these solutions equally.Thank you again for the great insights Chris Holloway 🚀, CPACC.#AccessibilityInCyberSecurity
